Travel & Accommodations
Where is the wedding taking place?
Our wedding will be held at The Fives Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Beachfront by The Fives is an adults-only boutique hotel located next to the main resort.
Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?
Yes! A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Make sure yours is up to date well in advance of the wedding. If you need special assistance with a passport application, please contact Brian or Joe.
What airport should I fly into?
You should fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN), which is the closest airport to Playa del Carmen.
How do I get from the airport to the resort?
We recommend booking a shuttle or private transfer in advance. Taxis and rideshares are also available at the airport, but pre-booking is the best way to ensure a smooth arrival. We have hired a travel agent for our wedding party who can help you book trusted airport transfers or any other transportation. To book, please visit https://vibethrivetravel.com/zanoniduckworthwedding/ or email Taylor at info@vibethrivetravel.com
Is there a room block for guests at the resort?
Yes! We have a reserved room block at The Fives Beach Resort for our guests. Please visit https://vibethrivetravel.com/zanoniduckworthwedding/ for booking details and deadlines.
Can I stay at a different hotel or Airbnb?
While you are welcome to stay elsewhere, we highly recommend staying at the resort to make things as easy and fun as possible. Some wedding events may be exclusive to guests staying at The Fives.
Wedding Events & Dress Code
What events will be taking place, and do I need to attend all of them?
We have several events planned throughout the wedding weekend! While we’d love for you to attend everything, the most important event is, of course, the wedding itself. Check the Schedule of Events tab for all the details. You will also receive a text message with all wedding details and a schedule of events 3 days prior to the wedding.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Alright, fashionistas and dapper gents, let's talk wardrobe! Our dress code is Beach Cocktail meets Trendy Casual. Think less 'boardroom' and more 'seaside chic.'
Ladies, we're talking flowy dresses, chic jumpsuits, or anything that screams stylish beach vibes. It's hot out here in Mexico, so keep it cool with breathable fabrics. Need some inspo? Check out our Lookbook on this site!
Gents, leave those stuffy suits at home. We're all about linen shirts, lightweight pants, and loafers to keep you looking and feeling cool.
What will the weather be like?
February in Playa del Carmen is warm and breezy, with daytime temps in the high 70s°F/low 80s°F and cooler evenings. We recommend light fabrics, sunglasses, and SPF!
Will there be an open bar at the wedding?
It wouldn’t be a celebration without a little libation! Yes, we will have an open bar ready to serve up all the liquid courage you need to hit the dance floor. So, get ready to sip and savor!
I have dietary restrictions—will there be options for me?
Yes! You will receive an email or text message requesting your food options prior to the wedding.
What other activities can we do while in Mexico?
Playa del Carmen has tons to offer! Whether you’re into relaxing on the beach, exploring cenotes, visiting Mayan ruins, or snorkeling, there’s something for everyone. Please reach out to our travel agent, Taylor, at info@vibethrivetravel.com for recommendations.
Logistics & Other Details
Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
While we adore your cute little party crashers, our wedding is adults only. So go ahead and call the babysitter—it's your night off to party! Consider this your official hall pass for a night of uninterrupted fun!
Who should I contact if I have more questions?
